Federal officials are asking the public not to fly drones at U.S. airports. UAS (and lasers) pose a danger for public safety. U.S. Senator Bill Nelson with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) asked the public to be aware of restrictions against flying Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) near U.S. airports, popular called as drones.
Aviation professionals (including pilots, flight crew, airport staff, associations, and others) have been sounding the alarm about the dangers which drones cause near airports. Local and federal government officials are now taking note and urging people to stop operating UAS near airports. IT IS TIME TO STOP ASKING AND START DEMANDING before tragedy strikes and innocent lives are lost!
